Enamel
Enamel is powdered glass that is applied to
metal and heated until it becomes molten. Once removed from the heat source it becomes a thin layer of glass.
Layers are built up with multiple firings either with a torch or a kiln. I use a variety of enamels both leaded and
unleaded, opaque and transparent. I love the color and many different looks that enamel offers.
